Southeast University was selected as one of the first 12 national future technology colleges to be constructed on May 17, 2021. It is also the only university in Jiangsu Province to be included. On October 23, 2023, the Future Technology College was officially established as an independent second-level college of the university. The college focuses on the national strategic needs and the characteristics of future technological development. It fully leverages the advantages of Southeast University’s numerous top-notch engineering disciplines for cutting-edge research, cultivating innovative leaders with forward-thinking capabilities who can lead future development, and fostering original achievements that can have a significant impact on frontier interdisciplinary sciences and future technology fields.
